Food Safety Supervisor Course by Industry

October 9, 2023

There are five industries that require Food Safety Supervisor training:

  • Hospitality
  • Retail
  • Food Processing
  • Health & Community
  • Transport & Distribution

Although the course is similar for each industry, it’s not the same. When you complete your Food Safety Supervisor training you receive a Statement of Attainment that lists the units of competency you’ve attained. These units of competency are specific to your industry sector.

It’s important to note however that there may be some state restrictions related to your industry too. For example, if you work in childcare in New South Wales, you must attain Food Safety Supervisor recognition for the Hospitality sector. However, in other states and territories, childcare falls under Health & Community.

Food Safety First is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #41127) and is approved to deliver Food Safety Supervisor training for all industries in all locations.
